The Viveiro estuary – which meets the mouth of the river Landro - is the largest in the Cantabrico Sea. Viveiro, on the delta of the river, is the most important town in the entire region, in the middle of the coastal area called “A Mariña”. In addition to its medieval and Celtic monuments, the area is remarkable for its landscapes, its clean beaches of fine sand, the interest of its natural environment and its varied offer of recreational facilities.
